We believe...

That Holy Scripture contains all Doctrine required as necessary for eternal salvation. We feel that men inspired by the Holy Spirit wrote Holy Scripture.

We believe that, through study and reasoning, man can unfold the full depths of God's truths.

We believe that our Church Traditions have been developed under the Holy Spirit's guidance.

We believe in the Holy Trinity and see it as God's sharing Himself with us in three ways: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that salvation is the end of our separation from God and the beginning of new life, lived according to God's will.

We believe that the people of God are the Church, the body of which Christ is the Head.

We believe in the three Creeds: Apostles, Nicene and Athanasian.

We believe in the seven sacraments, two of the gospel, Baptism and Communion, that are necessary for salvation, and five lesser ones, Confirmation, Penance, Orders, Matrimony and Extreme Unction, not applicable to everyone.

We believe in three-fold ministry [which is male in nature]: deacons, priests and bishops.

We believe in community worship as a means to help us and others grow as we give of ourselves and learn more about the mystery of God and how we fit into God's plans as we follow the commandments.

A special Prayer for Christ's Holy Catholic Church

Gracious Father, we humbly beseech thee for thy Holy Catholic Church; that thou wouldest be pleased to fill it with all truth, in all peace. Where it is corrupt, purify it; where it is corrupt, purify it; where in any thing it is amiss, reform it. Where it is right, establish it; where it is in want, provide for it; where it is divided, reunite it; for the sake of him who died and rose again, and ever liveth to make intercession for us, Jesus Christ, thy Son, our Lord. Amen

Help us to defend the Historic Faith O God, who makest us glad with the weekly remembrance of the glorious resurrection of thy Son our Lord; Vouchsafe us this day such blessings through our worship of thee, that the days to come may be spent in thy service; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
